I have the same problem smart status bad backup and replace..
What is this problem??? My hard disk is 500 GB and so worried ...please help...how to fix this problem

More than likely your HDD has run out of blocks in the allocation table to replace the bad blocks that happen normally with any HDD.

When this table depletes its self SMART will start tossing "backup data and replace drive" because data will start to corrupt after that point slowly and will be gone forever. If one of the blocks containing the OS corrupts windows don't start no more.
